MEET OUR TEAM

AJ is a qualified social work and disability services professional who holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Western Sydney University. His academic and professional background in social work provides a strong foundation in person-centred practice, advocacy, psychosocial support, safeguarding and working collaboratively with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams.

At CareX Australia, AJ works across service delivery and support coordination, collaborating closely with participants, families, guardians, allied health professionals, behaviour support practitioners and other stakeholders. He supports participants to navigate the NDIS, coordinate services, manage transitions and build support arrangements that reflect their individual needs, circumstances and goals.

Drawing on social work principles, AJ places particular importance on choice and control, dignity, inclusion and self-determination. His approach recognises that effective support is not simply about delivering services, but about understanding the whole person, recognising their strengths and circumstances, advocating where needed, and ensuring they remain actively involved in decisions that affect their lives.

AJ combines his social work knowledge with practical experience in disability service delivery to support positive outcomes for participants while maintaining strong communication and collaboration across their support networks. He is committed to contributing to services that are safe, respectful, culturally responsive and focused on promoting independence, participation and quality of life.

With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector, I am passionate about supporting individuals to live meaningful and independent lives.

My career began as a Registered Nurse in my home country, where i developed a strong foundation in clinical care and patient wellbeing. In 2020, I moved to Australia to pursue my Master of Nursing at the University of Wollongong, graduating in 2022. During this time, I transitioned into the disability sector, starting as a support worker and steadily progressing into leadership and coordination roles.

Since 2021, I have been working as a Care Coordinator, supporting staff, clients, and families in navigating the NDIS journey with empathy, professionalism, and a person - centred approach. I believe that compassion, consistency, and clear communication form the foundation of quality care.

At CareX, my goal is to empower both clients and teams - ensuring every individual feels heard, valued, and supported in achieving their goals. Every day, I am inspired by the positive difference we make in the lives of those we care for.
